Be sure to stop by the Make the Connection information stand to pick up a brochure and $20 referral card for your friends
Live Fit Live Green
The theme for Make the Connection 2008 is Live Fit, Live Green. Throughout the year, we will educate customers on ways to help make the earth a better place to live by protecting the environment.
The Live Fit, Live Green is centered around three main principles: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Information will be provided on the importance of these three principles, as well as ways to implement them. In January, we will start by learning how to reduce energy use.
Fit Club
Want to be rewarded simply for attending class? The new Fit Club does just that! When you attend 150 classes during 2008, you will receive a bronze tote bag. Attend 200 classes and get the matching coin purse! Attendance punch cards will be distributed Jan. 2.

Workout Wherever...
Workout Wherever by Jazzercise is a video podcast now available via iTunes and www.jazzercise.com. A podcast is a downloadable video or audio file available on sites like iTunes. Depending on the type of iPod/player you have, you can subscribe to, download and watch a video clip or listen to an audio file – or both! You an also download files to a computer. Some may charge a fee but most podcasts – like ours – are available for free. The popularity of podcasts and iPods has sky-rocketed in recent years.
Workout Wherever is a workout series for the traveler that showcases a variety of movements you can do in a hotel room or actually anywhere. Each clip runs three to four minutes. A new set of workouts will be released each week.
To find Workout Wherever, go to the iTunes Music Store, click on “podcasts” and search for keyword: Jazzercise. Jazzercise is working on getting an audio podcast as well, to be available this fall, so stay tuned.
You do not need and iPod or MP3 Player to use iTunes. You can use your Computer or laptop.
RYKA Shoes
If your feet or knees are starting to talk to you, it might be time to take a look at your shoes. Did you know shoes should be replaced after about 100 hours of use? Are you wearing an appropriate shoe to workout in? Make sure you’ve got good arch support and they were designed for lateral movement. Walking and running shoes are NOT the best shoe for Jazzercise. Look for a fitness or aerobic shoe.
To get the best Ryka for class, just see me or a class mannger. These shoes are designed for the dancing we do, with extra cushioning in the toe box and heel. See a class manager and order yours now!
